Tohoku Food Culture Export Promotion Cooperative Association released TOHOKU TERROIR project, which is introduce Japanese food and culture in Tohoku region and also offer with matching beverages and food ingredients made in Tohoku region. We would like to many people know the mariage, which is good combination of food and drink and handmade special grass, and we named it TOHOKU TERROIR. The first event in Sendai, held on the Oct 18. 2019, we invited some buyers from Tokyo and try to taste it in the French restaurant “miura” cooperated by Mr. Masahiro Miura as a chef and Mr. Akira Matsumoto as a sommelier for pairing food and drink and glass.
